NCWRC Committee Meeting
On July 12 (9AM) the NCWRC Commissioners will hold their officail meeting and possibly discuss adoption of the BBMP and possibly baiting of bears. All bear hunters are welcome to attend these public meetings.

NC Bear Management Plan - Final Draft
Following the Big Game Committee meeting on May 3rd, a final draft of the
proposed Bear Management Plan is to be placed on the NCWRC website.
Please download a copy and be familiar with the plan, as it will be the guiding
basis for bear management for the next 10 years. There will be another NCWRC
meeting in Raleigh soon to finalize the plan and make it official. A full copy of the
Bear Management Plan is available on this website at the Legislation /
Regulation link.
