Bear Hunting Magazine
It’s our privilege to annouce that the NCBHA is joining forces the Bear Hunting Magazine family. We consider Bear Hunting Magazine the only true forum dedicated to bear hunting in North America. As you probably already know, the NCBHA will be providing a full subscription to each of our members as part of your standard membership. We believe that Bear Hunting Magazine will provide a much more effective medium for communicating with our member, while simultaneously bringing quality bear hunting articles. (Posted 10-23-07)

NCBHA Looses a Best Friend
With great sadness, the NCBHA Board of Directors received information that our former Vice President Jerome Barr passed away from complications following an acute illness. The Board and all our members to will sorely miss Jerome’s wisdom, humor and the tremendous contributions to our organization. We sends our prayers and thoughts to Jeromes family.

2010 NCBHA Annual Field Event (Cowpens, SC)
We have decided to provide alot of advance notice for our NCBHA 2010 Membership Dog Field Event on March 6th (Saturday), at Eddies event grounds . As always, this event was open to our NCBHA members. Memberships and NCBHA merchandise will be available at the event. No alcohol, drugs, or cameras allowed. See ya there!

NCBHA Board of Directors
Pursuant to Jerome's resignation, Jerome asked the Board to consider appointing Jesse Koonce to finish his Board term and in accordance with corporate by-laws, Jim Noles offered a motion to that effect and the appointment was approved emphatically. Additionally, Drew Kennedy was asked to consider a one year term as Vice President, a motion to that effect was taken and the appointment was approved.
