Bear Hunting Magazine
It’s our privilege to annouce that the NCBHA is joining forces the Bear Hunting Magazine family. We consider Bear Hunting Magazine the only true forum dedicated to bear hunting in North America. As you probably already know, the NCBHA will be providing a full subscription to each of our members as part of your standard membership. We believe that Bear Hunting Magazine will provide a much more effective medium for communicating with our member, while simultaneously bringing quality bear hunting articles. (Posted 10-23-10)

NCBHA Sponsers 20th Eastern Black Bear Workshop
Our association contributed funding to the 20th EBBW. The EBBW is a working session designed for biologists involved with bear population management and monitoring. The agenda can be downloaded below and covers a range of topics, including bear population estimation and modeling, research updates, impacts of highways on bear populations, and wind turbine issues. There will be 3 workshop sessions, a poster session, and a limited oral paper session. We are excited to be able to help promote this important program.

NCBHA 2012 Annual Field Event
NCBHA will hold our Annual Field Day in Cowpens, SC, on March 3rd, 2012. This event is open to all NCBHA members and you can join at the event. We expect this will be a busy day with a lot of good dogs to look at. As always we will have NCBHA merchandise on site. Everyone come and see old friends and make new ones. Remember there's no alcohol, drugs, cameras, cell phone cameras or unwholesome behavior tolerated. This is a NCBHA family event and and a grand source of enjoyment for our members and their families.
